Superbills & Receipts Policy

As a small nonprofit without a billing department, we do not have systems that link payments to patients the way a hospital or a Dr.’s office may.  Finding payments through our system isn’t impossible, but it’s clunky and if we are going back more than a few weeks it can take several days of searching through Square and if you have multiple payment sources like several cards, or sometimes cash it can be quite a bit of work to track down. 

We will always provide receipts and superbills upon request, but we ask that it is your responsibility to ask for it AND keep those receipts for end of the year taxes, or submission to insurance or HRA/FSA/HSA reimbursement.   Please let us know at time of service if you need a receipt, superbill, or that your payments be recorded in your chart for future use.
