PHXCA Financial Policies

Phoenix Community Acupuncture aims to make acupuncture treatments accessible and affordable for people of all incomes which is why we offer a sliding scale for pricing.  How much you pay does not effect the quality or length of treatment.

The Community Room sliding scale ranges from $30 to $60 with a one time new patient fee of $10.

The Private Room sliding scale ranges from $60 to $120 with a one time new patient fee of $10.

In order to determine how much to pay on the sliding scale, we ask you to review the following income guidelines and pay accordingly.

Regarding Insurance - PHXCA has returned again and again to the question of wether or not we should accept insurance and, again and again, we decide that it is not the most feasible or best choice for our clinic.  We believe in the sliding scale model because we hope it makes our services as accessible as possible to as many people as possible.  We do accept HSA and FSA cards as payment if your health insurance includes that in your plan.

If your practitioner recommends more frequent treatments than you can afford, then we be able to discuss an alternative payment plan.  We understand everyone’s situation is different and our primary goal is to make acupuncture available to you as often as you need it in order to see results.  As always, let us know if you have any questions or concerns about cost or payment.  We’re more than happy to chat with you about it.
